Details:

  • Moved docs into community.hachyderm.io site tree

  • Edited some of the text to consolidate it a little

  • Placed "The Rules" to be the top item in the nav

  • Broke each rule out to it's own page so they show up directly in the nav and are visible all the time. (Same approach that was used for the Account Types) Happy to merge back into a single page if that's preferred.

  • Edited Gray Areas text for clarity. (It feels like the direction, but definitely please put an eye on it)

  • Switched the safe space notes from being at the end of the rules to its own headline. (My thinking here is that all the "No"s of the rules fit together and the safe space stands better on its own)

  • Put in an initial Safe Space text and a TODO note to fill it out more

  • Made a place holder "Safe Space" page in the sidebar. Not sure if y'all want to do that, but figured I'd stub one out while I was in there. If that works, my thinking is that it would move up to the first link in the nav with The Rules under it

PR update (all PRs are getting this update): we're in the process of rolling out our CLA, which we're going to have all contributors sign moving forward. We're (I'm) going to circle back on the PRs once that's complete.

We have finally rolled out our new CLA \o/ The CLA is through the Nivenly Foundation (the non-profit we're spinning up to house Hachyderm and OSS projects). The Docs are being licensed as CC and code (for code work on Hachyderm, Aurae, etc.) is Apache 2.0. (I realize code work doesn't apply here; still need to sign both parts for now :) ). The CLA is signed via a CLA bot that integrates with our GitHub repo: basically all future PRs will validate that you've signed the CLA.

Relevant note: your signature is private information and will not be shared publicly.
