This release:
- Adds support for the new subtypes in M21
- Adds a
--lore-seeker-hostname
option - Improves error messages on the command line
Magic Set Generator 2.0.0-beta.7
This release renames the command-line tool from msg
to msegen
to avoid a naming conflict with a program that comes with Windows. This is necessary since Cargo's Path modification has Cargo-installed binaries at a lower priority than Windows system programs.
Magic Set Generator 2.0.0-beta.6
This release adds compatibility with the new subtypes from Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths.
Magic Set Generator 2.0.0-beta.5
Cards can now be added in bulk using Lore Seeker search syntax:
- In the Windows app, there's a new text field “Add cards from Lore Seeker search”. Note that custom cards currently can't be generated, because the official card database is used.
- In the command-line interface, use
=query
. Queries that return custom cards should be used with an appropriate--db
option.
Magic Set Generator 2.0.0-beta.4
This beta release is an attempt at fixing the self-updater. Please download it manually if you have a previous beta and are seeing the message “An error occurred during self-update”.
Magic Set Generator 2.0.0-beta.3
- The desktop app now displays progress messages when generating a set.
- If no image directories are specified, platform-specific cache directories are now used.
Magic Set Generator 2.0.0-beta.2
- The desktop app now allows adding cards to generate by entering the card names.
Magic Set Generator 2.0.0-beta.1
