The notion of notable programmers is obviously a bit whacky but let’s just define them as people working in the field that have either published books, spoken at conferences or have published in academics related to the field. (a successful blog should probably work too)
The lists should be curated by the person itself or atleast it should be clear how the list was compiled. The books or the media contained in the list don’t have to be software related.
