Hello. Thanks for opening a PR on Exercism 🙂

We ask that all changes to Exercism are discussed on our Community Forum before being opened on GitHub. To enforce this, we automatically close all PRs that are submitted. That doesn't mean your PR is rejected but that we want the initial discussion about it to happen on our forum where a wide range of key contributors across the Exercism ecosystem can weigh in.

You can use this link to copy this into a new topic on the forum. If we decide the PR is appropriate, we'll reopen it and continue with it, so please don't delete your local branch.

If you're interested in learning more about this auto-responder, please read this blog post.

Note: If this PR has been pre-approved, please link back to this PR on the forum thread and a maintainer or staff member will reopen it.

Hi @Cool-Katt,

I’ve updated all the tests in the Java repository, and now I’m planning to move on to this repository. Would it be okay to open new PRs to sync all the tests across the different exercises here as well?

Looking forward to your guidance!

I'm not exactly sure what's the policy when it comes to tests, but I think generally separate PRs for each exercise is preferred, as there is a bit more control.

How did you do it in the Java track?

Yes, that’s exactly what I’m planning to do—submit a separate PR for each exercise. This approach makes the changes more manageable, especially since a large number of tests can sometimes cause example solutions to fail, requiring updates to those solutions as well. It also helps with earning reputation points for each PR, though that’s not my main priority. This method worked effectively for me in the Java track too!

@Cool-Katt, the PR for the first unsynced exercise has been raised. Kindly review it and let me know if any changes are needed. Once approved, I’ll proceed with the other exercises one by one. As a first-year engineering student, my schedule is quite packed, so progress might be a bit slow, but I genuinely appreciate the opportunity to contribute.
