Introduction

This wiki documents the quality of European weather radar data for the purpose of aeroecological research.

This information was mainly gathered in a data quality assessment workshop for the GloBAM project on 20-21 April 2020 for data from 2019. The source dataset that was assessed is the "BALTRAD dataset", a centralized dataset of European weather radar data (pvol data) from which vertical profiles of biological signals (vp data) are generated. pvol data are not publicly available, vp data are at https://enram.github.io/data-repository. This wiki also contains information about assessments at later dates, for other time periods in the data.
