Example config for Paul

This is how I'd setup CP for your needs.

  1. Create two contexts, one for when you are connected to the WiFi network you want to disable the firewall for and another called Automatic (the name is arbitrary but will make sense in step 2)
  2. On the general tab, tell CP to use a default context, select Automatic
  3. Ensure you've enabled the WiFi evidence source
  4. Create a Rule for your WiFi network, use BSSID unless you have multiple APs in your home that use the same SSID
  5. Create an action to disable the FW when moving to the proper context based you created for that situation
  6. Create an action to enable the FW when departing from the other context.

With this setup, you'll know that the FW is enabled anytime you go away from home and you won't be forced to remember to enable it for other contexts.
