we have noticed that you have helped us extensively maintaining coala in the near past. We'd love to send you a bar of chocolate but we don't know your address and shipping costs would exceed the actual costs by far 😀 If we ever meet at a conference we'll make sure you get a bar of chocolate. To make things simpler for you, we're offering you write access to the coala repositories. This allows you to:

  • Develop stuff directly in our repositories, no need to work on a fork anymore.
  • Command GitMate to merge stuff.
  • Label and assign PRs and issues and so on.

As a coala maintainer we try to provide you some advantages, see https://github.com/coala/coala/wiki/Membership for more information.

We'd like you to acknowledge the following things if you are willing to help us in that position:

  • You will not merge stuff that is not reviewed properly by the nonauthor of the commits.
  • You're authorized to review stuff, in the beginning we'd love it if you consult us so you get a little review training.
  • You will not push on master branches. Only GitMate should do that. (Except for a new repository when we setup rultor.)
  • You will never force push on master branches.
  • You will never press the shiny green merge button.
  • You will never press the shiny green merge button.
  • You will never press the shiny green merge button.

Repeat: "I will never press the shiny green merge button."
