Civic Technology and Design Timeline

This is a Github repo that contains Cyd Harrell's inital Google Doc Draft of civic tech/design timeline. Anybody can contribute to the timeline by updating the _data/chronicles.yml file.

How to modify/add the data on the page

• Fork the repository.
• Add/edit the content in the _data/chronicles.yml (caution: indentation in the file is very important.)
• Push it to your forked repo and make a pull request.

Data format

There are four fields that you can create:

• year: Year and month
• description: Description of what happened.
• link: Any URL that is related to the description.
• comment: Some additional comments to the event (showing up in a smaller font).
