Facet: Environmental Materials and Properties

(2023-10-19/20 Meetings) The initial proposed lists had a couple of issues.

  • Some concept bombing occurring "Fecal-contaminated surface water", where we are actually including material, properties, and location in one term when the field is only for materials. We should separate out the property into the environmental material properties, then it can be reused across any of the environmental material picklist items. Whether we have enough cases to separate out the location into say environmental site as well is being discussed, but best practice would be to separate it out.
  • We also want to make sure these labels are structured to describe "properties" not "processes".
  • Removing the "organizational" level terms that aren't actual picklist items (e.g. flow rate)

"Fecal-contaminated surface water" is a good example we can use to show how people address data.
