A frontend and backend developer

In my free time I am a passionate amateur radio operator. You will meet me on the air as DB7GKA mostly on the HF bands.

My radio equipment is inspired by the great community of draussenfunker.de (outdoor radio operators) and consists of the following listed items which all fit in my backpack:

  • UHF/VHF handheld Yaesu FT-4X
  • HF transceiver Yaesu FT-891
  • battery pack 12V/12Ah
  • antenna analyser RigExpert Stick 230
  • self-built 1/4 lambda vertical
  • self-built HWEF
