1.0 stabilization tracker #30

  • Decide what to do with "experimental" API - ie enable-by-default, post-deprecation-warning, etc
  • document API stability guarantees in general
  • document Nim version support policy
  • drop 1.2?
  • deprecate in stew - chicken/egg problem (since stew per definition is a work-in-progress repo)
  • port nim-stew issues / PR:s to here

Since the results package has seen "stable" use for quite a while now,
it's as good time a time as any to release 1.0 and migrate it out of
stew, thus signalling API stability of some sort.

Part of that "stabilization" is underway in the nim-results [issue
tracker](arnetheduck/nim-results#30).

I'd say drop 1.2, unsurprisingly. No legacy users of this as a separate library, no reason to start supporting it now.
