This anime should be watched by developers because it shows a world in which robots are able to be controlled by the human's physical movements; For example, there are "FranXX", which are humanoid robots that have been programmed for warfare, and are controlled by a couple, and it shows a dystopian world in which humanity if heavily dependant on robotic warfare.
Why this anime should watched by developer?
This anime is hugely technology based, and it talks about how programming and technology can be used to realistically use magic; for example, you can freeze someone "Elsa style" by having a device with a program that decelerates the movement speed of molecules in the air. Slowing down H2O molecules causes them to bond, and so causes freezing due to a change in pressure. This can therefore freeze someone.
