Hi Web Kids!

I'm excited to really get started on the update and redesign of the Arcade Creek Project site. I think we have the potential to create a really valuable tool here that will benefit the project and it's members. I've decided to use the Wiki to help share important resources and communicate messages to you all about the project. I will be updating it fairly regularly. This is a learning process for all of us, so this setup will evolve over the next month or so.

One of the excellent advantages to using Github is that everyone can "clone" (copy) the project, make individual changes on their local cloned version of the site, and then submit the changes for everyone to assess.

[This guide] (https://guides.github.com/activities/hello-world/) will give you a good intro to Github and it's basic functionality. For a more in-depth walkthrough, this is a good video.

Other Resources:

• Some of you have been taking HTML courses online. Khan Academy(no HTML course though), Codecademy, and Codeschool are all good options. I've done the Codecademy courses and I'm looking at working through Codeschool as well.
