MongoDB widget for Smashing

Smashing widget to display mongodb server status.

Dependencies

mongodb ruby driver

Add it to smashing's gemfile:

gem 'mongo'

and run bundle install.

Usage

1. copy /widgets directory into /widgets directory of your Smashing app.

2. Copy the mongo.rb file into your /jobs folder.

3. copy mongo-background.png into your /assets/images folder

4. Now copy over the mongo.yml into the root directory of your Smashing application. Be sure to replace the following options inside of the config file accordingly:

• mongo_host
• mongo_username
• mongo_password

Remove mongo_username and mongo_password if you don't have authentication.

5. Then include the widget in a dashboard, by adding the following snippet to your dashboard layout file:

• For the Mongo clients widget:

    <li data-row="1" data-col="1" data-sizex="1" data-sizey="1">
        <div data-id="mongo_connected_clients" data-view="MongoClients" data-title="MongoDB clients"></div>
    </li>

• For the Mongo network info widget:

    <li data-row="1" data-col="1" data-sizex="1" data-sizey="1">
        <div data-id="mongo_network_info" data-view="MongoNetwork" data-title="MongoDB network"></div>
    </li>
