Computer Science student at HTW Berlin
I'm a 4th-year Computer Science student at HTW Berlin with a solid foundation in object-oriented programming, databases, and application development. My coursework and projects have focused on building structured, well-tested software in Java, Kotlin, and Python, using relational data models in SQL/PostgreSQL.
- Open to: Software development and other IT roles, wherever I can contribute and grow
- Languages: Arabic, German (C1), English (C1)

Semester-long university project
Java 21 application that models a banking domain (accounts, customers, money, currencies) with a JavaFX user interface, built as a production-style Maven project.
- Domain: Multiple account types (checking, savings, fixed-term, children's account) with deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, plus bank-level queries across accounts and customers
- Design: Factory pattern for account creation, custom domain exceptions, collections and streams, persistence via Java serialization
- UI: JavaFX with FXML and a controller connecting view and model
- Tech: Java 21 · JavaFX · Maven · JUnit 5 · Mockito
- Quality: Unit tests with JUnit 5 and Mockito, coverage reports with JaCoCo, static analysis with SpotBugs, generated Javadoc
- Code: github.com/alm7h/Bankproject
Solo project for the module Mobile Betriebssysteme und Netzwerke
Native, fully offline-capable Android app for tracking daily habits, with streak calculation, a statistics dashboard, and a GitHub-style activity heatmap.
- Architecture: MVVM with the Repository pattern, API-first design with interfaces defined up front, reactive data flow with StateFlow
- Data: Room/SQLite with three relational tables, foreign keys, unique constraints, and cascading deletes
- Tech: Kotlin · Jetpack Compose · MVVM · Room · Gradle
- Quality: Test pyramid with unit tests (mocked DAOs), integration tests (in-memory Room database), and end-to-end tests of full user flows in the Compose UI
- Role: Sole developer, responsible for design, implementation, and testing
- Code: github.com/alm7h/Habitlab
