Browse Happy for phpBB 3.1

An extension for phpBB 3.1 that displays an Outdated Browser Banner on your forum's index page (visible only to Internet Explorer 6/7/8 users), to encourage users of IE 6/7/8 to upgrade to a modern browser.

Requirements

• phpBB 3.1.0-RC2 or higher
• PHP 5.3.3 or higher

Installation

1. Download the latest release and unzip it.
2. Copy the entire contents from the unzipped folder to phpBB/ext/vse/browsehappy/.
3. Navigate in the ACP to Customise -> Manage extensions.
4. Find Browse Happy under "Disabled Extensions" and click Enable.

Uninstallation

1. Navigate in the ACP to Customise -> Manage extensions.
2. Click the Disable link for Browse Happy.
3. To permanently uninstall, click Delete Data, then delete the browsehappy folder from phpBB/ext/vse/.
