Policies for the Aggie Makerspace

These policies are set by the superusers and subject to review by the Chair of Electrical and Computer Engineering. As always, University poicy supercedes the policy listed here when applicable.

3-D Printing Policies

1. The maximum print time is 6 hours.
2. Print time cannot extend beyond makerspace operating hours.
3. NO models intended for use, in whole or in part, with a firearm, blade, or other weapon intended for personal use. These prints are only allowed for sanctioned and supervised school projects. Documentation including the supervising professor may be required.
4. NO models intended for use, in whole or in part, for the use, storage, or manufacturing of illegal drugs.

Tool Policies

1. Users must wear appropriate PPE when using tools in the MakerSpace, see a superuser for these items.
2. NO TOOLS may be removed from the MakerSpace. There are NO EXCEPTIONS.
