🌎 WhyTrashEarth

"If we don’t care — who will?"

WhyTrashEarth is a radically independent environmental group solving problems on Earth — and in the systems that shape it.

We’re not another greenwashed nonprofit.
Environmental Professionalism, Not Crazy Activsm We don’t just talk — we act. We document. We follow through.

We’ve been operating underground since 2016, without selling out once. No corporate strings. No shallow hype. Just real work.

🧠 What We Do

  • 📨 Certified Letters & Campaigns — We research, verify, and send letters that lead to real-world change. Quietly or publicly.
  • 🧰 Tools & Tech — We design custom solutions for strange problems (RefleCube, GlyphGuardian, AntiKeyList, more).
  • 🌬️ Clean Air, Clean Oceans — We go from dirty hotel vents to illegal overfishing without missing a beat.
  • 🧼 Yes, We Still Pick Up Trash — But that’s just one part of a much bigger vision.
  • 🕵🏻‍♀️ Lots More and Lots More We Can't Discuss Honestly, too much to list just on here, yes we honor secrecy and have worked with some giants in the past.

We don’t believe in limits.
If the system’s broken — we’ll fix it, hack it, or rebuild it better.

💻 Why We’re on GitHub

We love Linux. We respect open source.
And just because we’re an environmental group doesn’t mean we’re sticking to trash pickups forever.

We love solving problems — in code, in cities, in ecosystems, in culture.
Because the best way to improve Earth... is to improve the lives of those living on it.

We’re still learning everything about GitHub — but we’re here.
If you vibe with what we do, or you want to collaborate, don’t hesitate to reach out.

🔒 No Clout. No Compromise.

We aren’t backed by billionaires.
We’ll wait years for a result if we have to.
If you hear from us, it’s because we already did the homework.

We’re not loud.
We’re not fake.
We’re WhyTrashEarth
