As always, to install this unsigned version:

  • If you already have the official extension from addons.mozilla.org, uninstall it
  • Then, if not done already, go to the page about:config and change the value of the key xpinstall.signatures.required from true to false
  • Open the attached .xpi file with Firefox and accept the installation

This is an unsigned version, use it if you don't want to wait for the official version on AMO.

This version:

  • fixes the expected behavior on OSX and most Linux distros
  • add the syntax highlight
  • resizes too large images to fit the body width
  • switches from the library marked.js to markdown-it

XPI for trying on OSX and some Linux versions before publishing on AMO

If Firefox prevents the install of an unsigned add-on, type about:config in the URL bar, click on the "I'll be careful" button, and double click on the key xpinstall.signatures.required (its value must switch from true to false).
