Neptunium Equipment

Aquaculture add a new material called Neptunium to the game. You can make tools and armor from Neptunium. This material has various properties when underwater.

You can obtain this equipment, or Neptunium Ingots to craft it yourself, by getting it from Neptune's Bounty. Neptune's Bounty is rare treasure loot. (Luck of the Sea enchantment increases the chance of getting Neptune's Bounty)

Armor

Helmet: the wearer sees better underwater.
Chestpiece: the wearer breathes underwater.
Leggings: the wearer "falls" underwater.
Boots: the wearer swims faster.

Tools

Pickaxe and Shovel: do not have a mining speed penalty when underwater.
Sword and Axe: deal extra damage underwater.
Bow: normal arrows fired from it are not impeded underwater.
Hoe: land hoe'd with this item will always be hydrated.
