Sample React Project

This is a React project bootstrapped with Vite, a next-generation frontend tooling. It can be used as base project to build react applications as per requirements.

React version used:- React 18

Project Structure

The project structure is organized as follows:

  • src/assets: Contains assets such as images, fonts, etc.
  • src/constants: Defines constants that are used throughout the application.
  • src/helpers: Contains helper methods used across the project.
  • src/pages: Contains individual page components.
  • src/routes: Defines routes for accessing different pages.
  • src/services: Contains services for making API calls.
  • src/shared: Contains shared components like popups, layouts, etc.

Modules Used

React-Bootstrap

  • Reason for Use: To easily incorporate pre-designed Bootstrap components into the project, saving development time and effort.
  • Features Used: Provides a wide range of customizable UI components like buttons, forms, modals, etc.

Bootstrap

  • Reason for Use: To leverage the power of the Bootstrap framework for styling and layout.
  • Features Used: Offers a responsive grid system, pre-styled components, and utility classes for faster development.

Axios

  • Reason for Use: To simplify HTTP requests and handle API interactions efficiently.
  • Features Used: Supports promise-based requests, automatic JSON parsing, and interceptors for request/response handling.

React-Router-Dom

  • Reason for Use: To enable client-side routing and navigation within the React application.
  • Features Used: Allows defining routes, handling navigation events, and passing parameters to components.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

Make sure you have Node.js and npm (or yarn) installed on your system.

Installation

Clone the repository and navigate into the project directory:

git clone <repository-url>
cd my-react-project

Install dependencies:

npm install
# or
yarn

Development To start the development server, run:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev

Building for Production : To build the project for production, run:

npm run build
# or
yarn build
