django-rate-your-review

An online application that will give a rating to your reviews.

Requirement

Install all the requirements with requirements.txt with the command

pip install -r requirements.txt

Main packages used in the application are:

  • Django
  • django-crispy-forms
  • tensorflow

Installation

Install and run the server

  1. Clone the repository.

  2. Create a virtual environment in the cloned directory with the following command:

$ python3 -m venv env

Note: If you get an error saying venv doesn't exist then install venv first with command pip install virtualenv.

  1. After creating the virtual environment, activate it with command:
$ source ./env/bin/activate
  1. Now install the requirements into the virtual environment evn with command:
$ pip install -r requirements.txt
  1. Create migrations and migrate with
$ python manage.py makemigrations
$ python manage.py migrate

Operations to perform:
  Apply all migrations: admin, auth, contenttypes, review, sessions
Running migrations:
  Applying contenttypes.0001_initial... OK
  Applying auth.0001_initial... OK
  Applying admin.0001_initial... OK
  Applying admin.0002_logentry_remove_auto_add... OK
  Applying admin.0003_logentry_add_action_flag_choices... OK
  Applying contenttypes.0002_remove_content_type_name... OK
  Applying auth.0002_alter_permission_name_max_length... OK
  Applying auth.0003_alter_user_email_max_length... OK
  Applying auth.0004_alter_user_username_opts... OK

$ python manage.py createsuperuser

Username (leave blank to use 'saad'): admin

Password (again):
Superuser created successfully.
  1. After installing all the requirements we are set to go! Just go run the server with the following command
$ python manage.py runserver
