Overview

This is a simple weather application that displays weather information for a specified location. It fetches data from the OpenWeatherMap API and presents it in a user-friendly interface styled with HTML and CSS.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

• A modern web browser.
• An API key from OpenWeatherMap. You can sign up for a free API key here.

Installation

1. Clone the repository to your local machine: sh git clone https://github.com/Noel9907/weather_site

2. Navigate to the project directory: sh cd weather-app

3. Open index.html in your web browser.

Configuration

1. Open the script.js file.
2. Replace apiKey with your actual OpenWeatherMap API key: javascript const apiKey = 'YOUR_API_KEY';

Usage

1. Enter a city name in the input field.
2. Click the "search" button.
3. The app will display the current weather information for the specified city.
