Hydra is a length-based multispecies, multifleet, spatial model designed to provide simulated data for performance testing of simpler (non-size structured) multispecies assessment models and managemnet procedures for the Northeast US Continental Shelf.

This wiki is intended to describe the inner workings of Hydra. The code for Hydra can be found in this repo.

Data requirements

Hydra requires a large amount of input "data". They are split into two separate files. Graphical representation of this input data can be found in the hydradata package
