Release Notes for MATRIXblock MiniR4 v1.0.5

  • Based on MatrixMiniR4 Library v1.1.5
  • [FIX] Translation update.
  • [FIX] My Block Builder Number and String Input icon.
  • [ADD] Device Auto Discovery, now robot will auto connect to computer.
  • [ADD] Serial Auto Close when uploading program.
  • [ADD] New sensors support for WRO FI.
  • [ADD] Now every sensor have it's own block (GPIO block still provide for adv users).

Support OS:

  • Windows: Windows 10 ,11 (x64, Recommend 1903 and above)
  • macOS: Monterey, Ventura, Sonoma, Sequoia (Arm® and Intel® CPU)
  • Older operating systems can typically be used, but their stability cannot be guaranteed without testing.

How to Install:

Windows:

  1. Download and run MATRIXblock Mini R4 Setup x.x.x.exe to install software.

Mac:

  1. Download and run MATRIXblock Mini R4-x.x.x.dmg, and setup window will appear.
  2. Drag the MATRIXblock icon into the Applications Folder, macOS will automatically install the software for you. (If trying to update the software, just override it.)

Notice: During the installation process, if you encounter any of the following prompts, please allow the installation to proceed:

  1. UAC (User Account Control): If a User Account Control prompt appears, click "Yes" or "Allow" to continue with the installation.
  2. Firewall: If the firewall blocks the installation, select "Allow Access" or add the installer to the exceptions list.
  3. Antivirus: The installation process may be flagged by your antivirus software. Please mark it as trusted or allow it to proceed.
  4. For macOS Sequoia users, due to systme polices, you may see the window like "asking for permission to access the local network." or some similar permission require, please click "Accept" or "Yes", because we using serial port to connect to controller.
