training with some empty masks?

Hello,
I am exploring using an object detector to preliminarily crop some regions of interest for nnunet to segment nodules in. However, this object detector has a lot of false positive examples. I was wondering if I need to filter out those false positives before sending to nnunet for training or is it fine to have images with an entirely background mask. Thanks.
