Looks good to me. I came here regarding this issue myself. I can confirm that the website does indeed still warn about upgrading to 7.0.16, and I confirmed that the changes in this file back to the prior version are correct...but I can't officially approve it, sorry 🤷. Just being a squeaky wheel...

Juuuuuust in time for 7.0.18 to come out today :). The changlog weirdly shows May 7th, but it was today. |

The homepage of virtualbox has a notice with the following text:
ATTENTION: PLEASE REFRAIN FROM UPGRADING TO 7.0.16 FOR NOW. THIS RELEASE HAS AN ISSUE WHICH MIGHT CAUSE HOST OS CRASH WHEN VM IS CONFIGURED TO USE BRIDGED OR HOST-ONLY NETWORKING. WE WILL SEND AN ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAILING LISTS WHEN FIX WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD.
I think it will be better to downgrade to the previous version until this issue is solved.
