My YouTube Bookmarks is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your YouTube viewing experience by allowing you to save timestamps, name them, and manage them easily. With this extension, you can mark specific parts of YouTube videos to easily return to them later, ensuring you never lose track of the content you love in long videos.
- Save Timestamps: Easily save timestamps while watching YouTube videos with the click of a button.
- Name Your Bookmarks: Assign names to your saved timestamps for easy identification.
- Manage Bookmarks: Access a dedicated options page to manage all your saved timestamps.
- Easy Navigation: Retrieve your saved timestamps from the extension popup to quickly jump back to your favorite moments.
To install My YouTube Bookmarks, visit the Chrome Web Store and search for "My YouTube Bookmarks," or follow this link directly to the extension's store page. Click "Add to Chrome" to install the extension in your browser.
After installation, navigate to any YouTube video and:
- Click on the extension icon to save a timestamp at the current video time.
- Name your bookmark for future reference.
- Access your saved timestamps through the extension popup or the options page to revisit your favorite moments.
This extension requires the following permissions:
storage: To save and manage your bookmarks.tabs: To interact with YouTube tabs and save timestamps accurately.
Additionally, it operates on all YouTube video pages as defined by the host_permissions in the manifest.
