I appreciate all the tools and guides you've compiled here, this is an excellent resource.
I wanted to suggest a new item for the Best Practices section. I maintain this open source site that delivers high-level guides for creating ephemeral environments. I thought it might be relevant to your project since ephemeral environments are container-based, cloud native deployments of pre-prod apps.
