Creating a Basic MailChimp List
On the following page we'll walk through creating a new list on your MailChimp account. We can simply generate an empty list, and build up the new form to our liking from within the plugin. The only limitation is creating new lists from within the plugin. Whenever you want to create a new list, you'll need to do so on http://www.MailChimp.com.
Let's start by first logging into your MailChimp account. Once logged in, you'll want to select the 'Lists' page in the left hand menu.
Once you've clicked on 'Create List' you'll be presented with the 'Create List' screen. You'll want to enter the options into the fields presented. Each of the first 4 fields (List name, default 'From' email, default 'from' name, and remind people how they got on your list) are all required.
Once you've saved the list you're all set to import it to your site. Continue onto the next step of the tutorial for instruction on importing your MailChimp list into your site for use.
