The Department for Artificial Intelligence, at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Slovenia, is concerned mainly with research and development in information technologies with emphasis on artificial intelligence. The main research areas are: (a) data analysis with emphasis on text, (b) web and cross-modal data, (c) scalable real-time data analysis, (d) visualization of complex data, (e) semantic technologies, (f) language technologies.
