Sysadmin notes

Normally the service is on:

  • t2.micro Elasticsearch
  • db.t2.small RDS

Pre large election tasks

  • Scale up Elasticsearch to a t2.medium or above (need to work out the best option, especially for SOPN day)
  • Scale up RDS (same as above about the size)
