This is the lab manual for the Smith Lab. Although it should work for any LaTeX compiler, I have been primarily using TeXShop and the MacTeX distribution. You may need to install the Memoir package and the Academicons package.
The Lab Manual is intended to serve as a guide for how things are expected to work in lab. It generally gets updated at the beginning or end of each term, and works well as an on-boarding document for new people. If anything is unclear or needs updating, please make a note on the relevant section of the Wiki and/or let me know.
Note: Much of the material in this lab manual was taken from Jonathan Peelle's lab manual. For more information about the value of a lab manual, see Dr. Peelle's blog. In addition, I also recommend checking out a 2018 editorial from Dr. Miriam Aly titled "The key to a happy lab life is in the manual".
