Ask Bayes is a simple command line tool for performing Bayesian inference. You can save your updates locally to preserve the latest priors for your hypotheses.
cargo install ask-bayes
Ask Bayes can be invoked like so:
ask-bayes -n Hypothesis-name -p 0.75 -l 0.75
which will output:
+-----------------------+-----------------------+--------------------+
| Name | Probability | Value |
+-----------------------+-----------------------+--------------------+
| Prior | P(Hypothesis-name) | 0.75 |
| Likelihood | P(E|Hypothesis-name) | 0.75 |
| Likelihood Null | P(E|¬Hypothesis-name) | 0.5 |
| Marginal Likelihood | P(E) | 0.6875 |
| Posterior Probability | P(Hypothesis-name|E) | 0.8181818181818182 |
