I'm Carter Tran β currently studying Computer Science at the University of Chicago π’.
I spend my time bouncing between studying cafes, coding late-night projects, and training ML models for competitions and research.
When I'm not wrangling data, you'll probably find me looking for new restaurants, or playing the LinkedIn puzzles π§©.
- π¬ I do neuroscience research involving seizure detection and Transformer models.
- πΈ I compete in quant finance competitions like IMC Prosperity, QuantConnect's League, and WorldQuant IQC.
- π» I like building random projects with Next.js, finetuning models, and whatever else seems cool at 2AM.
- π² This summer, I'm in Seattle as an SDE intern @ Amazon.
