Explaining GUI


Parameters

  • Temperature
  • Pressure
  • Humidity

Control

  • Required Temperature - You can set the temperature required for your items in a container.
  • Current Required Temperature - You can see the current required temperature and if it is a template or a custom set temperature.
  • Current State - You will see the current state. If it's heating or cooling the container.
  • Reset to Default - Resets everything to default e.g Beer which is set to as a default.
  • Common Templates - Collection of set temperatures for items.

History
Shows the history of temperature in the box.

Setting the devices

Find the IP of the Raspberry Pi.
If you don't know the IP of your Raspberry Pi.
Use network scanner to determine the IP or refer to the other Guide
Find the RPI and enter the default passwords.
user:pi password:raspberry

Select the device for Peltier control which is the RPI that controls the box.
Make sure to select toolkit as raspbian Jessie.
If you don't have the kit refer here

Running

To initiate the software. Right click CoolerSystem and run. If everything is correctly done. Should start building and deploying the software to the Raspberry Pi.

Additional Notes

You can make the GUI run on an additional Raspberry PI with a screen. Using the same steps as seen above e.g finding the ip and setting the application to an RPI with a toolkit.
