Biological imaging can be laborious unless fully automated. BioImager is made to automate the imaging process as well as analysis using ImageJ & supported microscope SDK's if available from the manufacturer. However often microscopes do not come with libraries to automate the full imaging process. Which means the only way to take images is with using the imaging application provided by the manufacturer. This is why BioImager comes with GUI recordings & screen element properties functions.
