The bzflag.org website uses a static site generator called Stakx. We use a combination of Twig templates, YAML/JSON data files, SCSS, Markdown documents, and other assets to generate a publishable static site.
If you wish to contribute with writing documentation or helping with other aspects, we'd be more than happy to help you learn how.
