The MERIT 2.1 release introduces user access management features to MERIT and ecodata.
The change is tracked as an EPIC in github #2262 (with many associated sub-tasks): #2262, #2454, #2419, #2417, #2421, #2423, #2422, #2415, #2416, #2455

Other changes include:

  • Documents are served from a MERIT URL rather than an ecodata URL #2450 which also fixes #2464
  • #2465 - the plus icon was accidentally deleted - this fix comes from upgrading ecodata-client-plugin to v4.0.2

  • #2247 - Fixed a problem where the MERI plan was prompting for an internal order number when one was already supplied

  • #2470 - Removed a log.debug statement

  • #2452 - Change the organisation list cache to manage failures when ecodata is down
  • #2474 - Return null after proxying a species image to avoid unnecessary exception in the logs
  • #2460 #2459 - Use the same algorithm to match sheet name to output name as ecodata does to prevent upload errors for certain output types
  • #2477 - Fixed bug with the behaviour of the project explorer date facets
  • #2478 - Fixed problem with site data encoding that caused issues when indexing the data
  • #2480 - Added "Project Assets" section to MERI plan download list on the Project Explorer page
