Steps To Run The Project

To get started with the Ekart project, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository: git clone

  2. Import ekart.sql into your MySQL database:

  • Create a new database in your MySQL server.
  • Import the ekart.sql file located in the project's root directory into your newly created database.
  1. Configure the .env file:
  • Rename the .env.example file to .env.
  • Open the .env file and update the database connection details, such as DB_HOST, DB_PORT, DB_DATABASE, DB_USERNAME, and DB_PASSWORD, with your MySQL database credentials.
  1. Install the project dependencies using Composer: composer install

  2. Create a symbolic link between the storage directory and the public directory: php artisan storage:link

  3. Start the Laravel development server: php artisan serve

  4. Access the Ekart application:

  • Open a web browser and navigate to http://localhost:8000 (or the URL displayed in the console) to access the Ekart application.

Make sure you have a compatible version of PHP and MySQL installed on your system before starting the installation process.

Feel free to modify the instructions and commands according to your project's requirements and specifics.
