Hi, I'm Arjun 👋

I'm a software engineer at Microsoft, working on keeping Windows customers protected and productive. I'm deeply passionate about security, and love to read and share - learn and teach - things related to security.

  • 🖥️ I currently work in the Windows team, keeping customers safe when they use Windows applications.
  • 🌱 I’m learning a lot about information security - pen-testing (I got my eJPT certification), reverse engineering etc.
  • 🎤 I presented a talk "AppSec 101: A Journey from Engineer to Hacker" at DEF CON 29.
  • 📚 A short story I wrote won the 2nd place in the 2020 DEFCON Short Story contest.
  • 📱 I published an app - AntiSocial - to the App Store that allows you to block tracking from popular social networks. The app is also open source on GitHub.
