"Interview" is the process Z-Wave JS goes through to discover the device properties (Name, Product, Mfg, etc.) and its capabilities (command classes). Interview "Complete" means that process was completed successfully. The Interview is only performed when including a device, when Z-Wave JS sees it for the first time (e.g. move from other software or delete driver cache), or when you manually re-interview it. Otherwise, it is never performed again. "Status" indicates the current state of the node, whether it's Sleeping (battery), Alive (mains-powered), Dead (mains-powered), and maybe a few others. Dead simply means the device never responded to the last command sent from the controller. There is no direct relation between Status and Interview, except that a node that dies during an interview will prevent the Interview status from becoming Complete. |

i am confused about the status reporting in the current UI:
According to this screenshot, my node status are dead but the interview is completed and the last update is within a few hours of the current system time (screenshot taken at ~1PM on Jan 23)
What does "Status Dead" mean in this context?
