Description

To start a localization project on Crowdin.

Alternatives

Maybe Weblate? But Crowdin is still the first choice.

Additional Context

If there is a Crowdin link, I can help with simplified Chinese localization quickly.

It's planned for the next major iteration of NomNom. I already set up a private project on Crowdin and as soon as it makes sense to share, I'll do :)

I would like to spent some time on localization too. It's too annoying to search wiki every time I change my saves.

I already set Crowdin up with a dev version and as soon as it is ready to share, I'll also make the Crowdin project public.

The Crowdin project is now publicly available here: https://crowdin.com/project/zencqnomnom

  • This is for an upcoming version (with some substantial changes) that is not yet available. I'll upload some screenshots soon, that will help you with your translations.
  • As that version is still very WIP, some entries are not final yet. To avoid unnecessary work, orient yourself on the German translation. Everything that is approved there, is good to go.
  • Therefore, please do not approve any German translations yourself, even if you know German and think it is correct.
  • In the beginning, all translations will be added to the app but when more people joined, and the number of approved translations will be high enough, it will be changed to only include approved ones.
