As No Man's sky recently was released to Macs, it would be great to have this tool working on MacOS too

This already in the works (but will take a while) and also a Linux/SteamDeck and Web (via GitHub Pages) version in the same go :)

After checking out the Readme file, I can provide the location of the save game on Mac is in /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/HelloGames/NMS/st_<Steam_ID>/save*.hg. I couldn't find anything on the repo to contribute on Mac, but if you need any help, I will try my best to help you 😄

Source code will be added with that multi-platform version. Feel free to contribute then :D If I need something Mac related till then I may ping you here again if that's okay

In the meantime, you can install the free version of vmware fusion to get a windows VM running and install the save editor in that. then edit the files in a very roundabout way, but it works for now.
