Decrease sidebar animation speed?

How can I decrease sidebar animation speed so that it feels more responsive?

In about:config, set this key sidebar.animation.duration-ms to something like 200. You can change the value as per your liking.

This doesn't appear to change anything for me? I've tried with 200, 150, 100, 50 and 0 and nothing appears to have changed?

I am not sure which ones, but there are some settings which need zen to be restarted after making a change. With each of the values, did you restart zen? (I'm also just a user, not a developer - so this is the extent of help I can give)

Also, just installed zen yesterday and haven't changed much from default. No mods or anything. I use raycast on Mac and added a hotkey to open zen, and now I get this when opening:
