You can set the config file to be read-only. I'm sorry to hear you lost work, but I'm not sure how this can happen. Before editing the config, Zellij backs up your old config (you can see the file name in the comment at the beginning of the file) and makes sure the old config backup was written and contains the same contents. Furthermore, the new config should contain all of your old configuration, though perhaps not in the same way/order it was written. If this was not the case for you, I can offer my apologies and ask you to open an issue with a minimal reproduction. |

Is there any config options to prevent zellij to edit the
~/.config/zellij/config.kdl
file ?Because it is rather anoying.
PS: (I just lost 1h of progress on my config by accidentaly opening the config plugin ....)
