Many of us have extensions that don't belong in the official registry —
personal forks, opinionated patches, or niche language support that's too
specific to merge upstream. Right now these live scattered on GitHub with
no easy way to discover or install them.
I'm a macOS/iOS developer using Zed as my primary Swift editor. I forked
the official Swift extension to add Objective-C/C++ LSP support and a few
Xcode-specific tweaks — but my PRs were out of scope for the official
extension. I suspect many others are in similar situations.
The idea: ZedHub (working name)
A community site for unofficial Zed extensions, with:

Note: If Zed ever builds official third-party extension support, I'd migrate
to that immediately. This is meant to fill a gap, not compete.
