Ability to make the Threads Sidebar close and stay closed

Every single time I open a project in Zed now I get this hideous great Threads sidebar taking up half my screen and I have to close it every single damn time. Sometimes I switch to another app and then switch back and there it is again, looking ugly and taking up my screen real estate. Is there a way to disable it entirely? Is there a way to make it stay closed when I've closed it? Is there a way to not have it open every single damn time I open a file?

Now every time I open a project in new window it just open the thread sidebar... I just want to use it as an editor.
