Please describe the feature you have in mind and explain what the current shortcomings are?
There are some client requests from our side to actually create minicuts of sequences with reviewables cut in, and since we're doing this manually now i'd like to explore possibilities of making those automatically. Since it seems you are doing the cuts by OTIO it would seem feasible to actually take what's exported from the timeline and relink version against a master OTIO that was prepared beforehand (maybe in an edit task in the sequence or some other place) to then publish the minicut in ftrack again.
How would you imagine the implementation of the feature?

I was reading the description meny times and it was not easy to understand the issue subject so here is my way of understanding. I hope it makes more sense and it is also formally correct (calling @maxpareschi for validation )
Problem:
Currently, minicuts of sequences with reviewables are created manually, which is time-consuming and inefficient.
Proposed Solution:
Utilize OTIO for Automation:
Export sequences from the timeline using OTIO.
Relink the exported sequences against a pre-prepared master OTIO.
Integration with ftrack:
Prepare the master OTIO in an edit task within the sequence or another designated area.
Automate the publishing of the minicut back into ftrack.
Benefits:
Streamlines the minicut creation process.
Reduces manual effort and potential errors.
Ensures consistency and accuracy in the final output.
