Package binary as a Python wheel

Firstly, thank you for this wonderful project. When I found it I said to myself, "This is that thing you've always wanted!" I even started to own-roll something similar once but never went very far with it.

Even so, it would be great if the binary could be included in a wheel. The install is super easy, but it's currently the only library I use that needs extra steps.

@ejohb thanks! Getting wheels set up is on the long todo list. It's actually a problem in 10 of the 11 languages we ship to.
Perl will auto install the shared lib.

Do you have any experience with shipping wheels?

https://github.com/bytecodealliance/wasmtime-py is a project that has a sharedlib and ships wheels for python.

I can't claim to be any great expert, but I do have some experience with building wheels and have a rough idea of what this might entail. As a first step, I can see if I can get a basic PoC working locally, then come back and share what I've learned?

If that goes well we can maybe start thinking about how to integrate it into your release workflow.

Sounds good. Serendipitously my YAML friend Joao just reached out to me about helping with wheels.

Speaking of workflows, I need to get the fairly complex (but scripted at least) YS release process into a GitHub actions workflow. I think Joao was trying to help out with that too.

You'll see I've made some baby steps and opened a PR. Still many things to do, but hopefully its enough for you to tell if I'm going in completely the wrong direction :)
